Putting students first is my philosophy. Good teaching begins and ends with the learner, so now is the time to teach well with technology. I hope this website will enable you to prepare lessons that will inspire and motivate students as they create, collaborate, and solve problems using technology.
Visit often to see the latest research about student engagement, cooperative learning strategies, menu choices, student projects, iPad apps, social networking, and multiple intelligences.
Teachers and students have enjoyed working with iPads, Windows 8 Tablets, Discovery Education Science Techbook, Edmodo, Padlet, ActivEngage2,, SMORE newsletters, and Classflow. These new technology tools have been the focus of my workshops this year. The apps that students and teachers have enjoyed using the most are: Book Creator, Explain Everything, iMovie, and Science Techbook.

It’s time to share our knowledge with educators around the world. Open the doors to your classrooms and invite others to share what is working and not working in education. We can make a difference!
Understanding your students’ learning differences
Scientists and educators are working together to pinpoint specific activities that improve student achievement and actually cause the brain to morph and grow. Recent brain research shows that parts of the brain involved in reading, math, music and personal relations are different in every child. Learn how to design lessons that provide opportunities for students to learn using their strongest intelligences.
